What is ConveyanceLink?

Is ConveyanceLink restricted just to large practices?

Not at all, ConveyanceLink is flexible and adaptable. Whether you are a sole practitioner or a multi-office, multi-user practice, ConveyanceLink will be suitable.

Will the system allow me to send a quote?

Yes, the System has been designed to complement your business. Sending a quote is done with the minimum of effort and the program will merge your fees and other charges automatically into your quote template. There is no charge for using the quotation function.

How does ConveyanceLink help me keep track of my active matters?

ConveyanceLink has a fully functional Diary within the program and all users have access to it. There is also a To-Do list to help fee earners manage their day-to-day workload.

Can I request searches through ConveyanceLink?

Yes. We link to the 3 NLIS channels: SearchFlow, TM Property and Transaction Online, as well as offer our own search service in partnership with OneSearch Direct. You can request online searches at a click of a button.

What letter precedents does the system use?

As part of our two-day installation and training we import your letter and billing templates into the system so you are ready to go immediately with your own preferred precedents.

Can I change my letter precedents once they are installed?

Yes. The program allows for easy editing of your templates. You can add new templates at a later date, or delete ones you do not use. You can also easily edit the templates with Microsoft Word.

How easy is it to load a new file onto the system?

Very easy. A wizard guides you through the steps required to input all of the information needed. The postcode lookup and Hays DX databases together help speed up data entry, meaning you can load on a new file quickly, and more importantly accurately.

How will the system benefit my clients?

Your clients are able to track the progress of their transaction online through our website. This will in turn reduce the amount of incoming calls you receive from your client and improve your relationship with them by keeping them in the loop. At key milestones in the conveyance process the system will automatically send out text messages and/or emails to your clients, which serves as yet another way to them up-to-date.

Is it possible to speak to an existing user?

Yes, we would be pleased to refer you to any number of existing users. However, to better direct your enquiry and to ensure that our clients are not receiving too many telephone calls, we respectfully request that you take up references at the final point of decision-making. We will provide a reference from a firm that best matches your requirements and are similar in size and operation to yours.

How long does the demonstration of ConveyanceLink last?

Demonstrations normally take between an hour, and an hour and a half, depending on how many questions you might have.

Costs

How much does the system cost?

After a small installation and setup investment, ConveyanceLink is charged on a 'pay as you convey' basis where we charge you for every matter loaded on to the system. There is no licence fee and no charge for support.

Do I have to pay for abortive matters?

If you load a matter on and within that same month the matter becomes abortive, then as long as you cancel it on your system before you are billed for that month, you will not be charged for that matter.

Does it cost anything to send a quote out to a prospective client?

No, the system allows you to load on files for free in order to send out quotes. We only charge you once you have marked the file as active after your client has instructed you.

Does it cost anything to add extra users to the system?

Absolutely nothing. Additional users can be added to the system at any time free of charge.

Do you charge for support?

No. Our support is included in the fee per matter and is available Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.

Do I need a permanent internet connection?

Not necessarily. ConveyanceLink needs to synchronise with our servers regularly in order to keep the Progress website up-to-date so your clients can track their case, and also to send out any texts and emails to your clients. We usually configure the upload routine to run automatically every hour, in which case a permanent connection would be required. However it can done manually. In which case, you could connect only when necessary.

How many users can the system handle?

Unlimited users are able to log on and use the system, so whether you are a small practice or have a network of 50 or more PCs, ConveyanceLink will work for you.
